Da Ortisei a Bullaccia sulla neve

Itinerary mostly on #snow, but doable even in summer, very challenging both for the steep ascent and the very technical final descent.

On the other hand, the views are fantastic and the view from the Bullaccia is beautiful over Val Gardena. Best done at least a week after the last snowfall, so that the trails are groomed and in cold weather, because on Mont Seuc the sun beats down hard and quickly melts the snow.

We start in Ortisei, from the parking lot of the cable car to Siusi. You first climb with hard sections up to Compaccio, then take a nice ride up the Bullaccia. You go up to mont Seuc with several huts for refreshments and descend to Ortisei on trail 4 and then 15.

Caution trail 4 is very challenging, possibly get to Saltria first and then descend through the Saltria valley on smooth road to Santa Cristina and Ortisei.
