Giro del Cornizzolo

Nice tour around Mount Cornizzolo. We start from Pusiano and on comfortable asphalt we reach the first trail which is a traverse, mostly downhill, with some exposed sections that will take us to the north side of the mountain. From here we return to pedaling uphill, initially on comfortable forestry and then pushing the last 100 meters to reach the Marisa Consigliere refuge. The stretch with bike on the back is not yet finished because from the refuge there are another 150 meters of elevation gain separating us from the top of Cornizzolo. Once you get to the top I suggest you descend from the ridge to the west (as per the trail) which is super panoramic and very exciting.

The first few meters are steep and technical but then the trail becomes much smoother. Back on asphalt you have to climb 10 minutes back to the hut to take the final descent. Very fast descent that alternates between rocky and more flowing sections and overall very enjoyable.
