Triangolo Lariano da Erba
Long and challenging tour that allows, unlike other trails, to walk the famous Dorsale del Triangolo Lariano avoiding the ugly Bellagio/Como return all on asphalt.
Departing from Erba, we climb to the Viceroy Alp from the Zoccolo gippabile, after which we take the Baita Patrizi trail and follow it to Bocchetta Molina. This part is really challenging, especially after the Baita Patrizi. From Bocchetta Molina we are on the Dorsale.
Now we will walk along the beautiful Beech Trail to the Mara Hut, then a continuous up and down on comfortable small roads and bold cemented tracks we arrive at Bocchetta di Terrabiotta. Here there are some possible variants x continue, we decide to continue on the classic route. Following the trail we arrive below Rifugio Martina where we take the trail back to the ridge to Brogno.
NB: the more daring can continue to Nuvolone, its viewpoint is something amazing! But you have to pass a strenuous section with bike on your back, a nasty downhill passage after the belvedere and a fantastic technical descent that brings us back to Brogno. Now behind the front and with paved and unpaved sections and a bit of effort we arrive at Ghisallo. With a careful dirt road and a nice fast trail and an uncomfortable asphalt climb we arrive in the Crezzo area, where we will bypass Monte Megna subun fantastic super flow trail to Maisano. To get to Erba you will ride on back roads, a few trails and some dirt roads.
You will arrive in Erba very tired, XC ride that doesn't give up a moment until the end.
