P.ta Tersiva (3513 Mt) via Invergneux
Cycloalpine digression to one of the best known tours of VdA that allows you to reach the beautiful P.ta Tersiva (3513 mt) all in all cheap considering the "limited" portage ( about 650 on 2200 mt d+ )
Overall medium difficulty descent with some technical sections on the Grauson trail and a steep part below the summit .
Hyper known ascent to Invergneux Col with a very small portage starter.
Descend on the well-known trail in the Grauson valley, always very nice, too bad only that the mtb ruts start to be rather obtrusive and annoying to see.
After the second lake you cut right through meadows always pedaling and going to intercept a faint trail with even trail marker "4a" until you ford a stream near a waterfall coming down from the Tersiva glacier.
After the stream you cut uphill to go to the obvious trail that leads to the spectacular plateau on which the Muggia bivouac stands.
Here incredibly you pedal for quite a while more thanks to the low gradient, until you reach about 2900 mt , below the Tersiva pass from which there is no alternative to portage to the summit.
Super panorama, photos and down....initially on easy dirt but the slope increases gradually until it forces halfway between the summit and the col to descend by hand, then just before the col you return briefly to the saddle, below the col a few stretches on foot and then in the saddle.
Arrived on the plateau there is nothing left but to go full on the beautiful trail, just before Gimillan you descend left to Montronz with a more technical path and some narrow passages gear splits (better to do on foot) and then arrived at a hairpin bend on asphalt you follow to "Colonna "a beautiful flat path, after a short ramp you leave it and descend right on the last portion of the trail that bowls us on the alfalt.
