Very hard and challenging route, but also fun and scenic, which will give satisfaction to the most experienced and trained bikers.
From Merano you reach San Vigilio via the Tschigg farm, Almboden and Black Lake. Then up again to the Giogo di Naturno (possibility of refreshment at the nearby Naturno alpine hut). From here beautiful views and descent on the technical but dicertent trail 2.
