Val Monzon e val San Nicolò sulla neve

Beautiful all-snow route in the San Nicolò and Monzon valleys, all on perfectly groomed forestry with beautiful views of the Dolomites.

To be done with well groomed snow, so at least a week after the last snowfall. If the snow is very hard it can also be done with regular or plus tires, if not better on fatbike. Perfect with ebike to go up to Vallaccia hut, with very steep road.

You go up first in Val Monzoni to Monzoni hut, from here you can go up to ref. Vallaccia, with beautiful views, only if well trained or with ebike. You descend into Val San Nicolò and climb up the valley to the last huts.

If the snow is well groomed by hikers and with low temperatures, you can climb up to the San Nicolò pass and the Contrin refuge, with pushing sections.
