Serle and Valpiana
Departure from the free parking lot of BricoMan in Rezzato.
We begin our tour on the bike path of the better-known Gavardina, which we will abandon shortly to follow the bike path that will take us to the entrance of the first climb to Serle.
The gentle climb to the Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Paitone will make you believe that anything is possible.
You will change your conviction when, arriving after the Rifugio degli Alpini, you will find yourself facing 3/4 "strapponi" that will make you realize what this enchanting, yet treacherous little mountain is made of.
From here on it's all uphill, until you reach the Monastery of San Bartolomeo, having reached the summit you will be able to notice, on a clear day, of a 360° panoramic view that sweeps over the entire valley below, until you see Lake Garda.
Just enough time to refresh and get ready for the descent, be sure to wear your protective gear, that it's time to start.
First rock and roll descent, close to the Monastery, technical and treacherous descent with many rocks, beware of wet days, at the end of this five minutes of portage to put you back on the road that will take you to face the Valpiana loop, which is not so flat.
Once this Up and Down is over, we begin the "breakneck" descents, beautiful single wilds that wind through the forests that cover this small mountain range and that will lead you to discover some splendid naturalistic places, among them an amazing natural amphitheater.
So we can only wish you good descents and "strenuous" ascents.
