Granfondo MTB Città di Brescia

We went to try out the Granfondo MTB city of Brescia race course. Lots of fun with a series of really spectacular trails in the center of the Lombard city. Itinerary suitable for everyone.

We start near Borgo Wuhrer and move to Piazzale Arnaldo. Now begins the asphalt climb first to San Gottardo and then dirt and on trail in the heart of the Maddalena forest. At the 13th hairpin bend we take the trail that will lead us up to the Cavrelle. Last tear and we will be at the viewpoint. From here begins the descent to Nave north side which will be impressively beautiful. Almost movie-like with passages over small bridges and a flow to caress with fat wheels. Once in Nave there will be a passage in the village and then we will go up and face a quite challenging coast trail and then descend again in the village and move to the second part of the tour always nervous and made of up&down. We will take Sentiero Piccinelli then arrived at Rifugio Valle di Mompiano another nervous trail and then move to the last fast ascent of Monte Santa Croce. Very easy descent with final steps of the Pusterla, an obligatory passage in the Brescia castle park then back to the starting point. What a sight raga! Must try and try again.
