Pian Audi - Rifugio Alpe Soglia ( 1670 m) - trail 416

Initially go up the Malone stream ignoring the detours to Case Rive, Case Rughet - Macia - Abba. Past the waterfall of the Abin stream, you leave the direction Ritornato turning right for Case Ciochet. The slope becomes challenging up to Al pe Soglia, never allowing a break. The road climbs with numerous hairpin bends touching scattered huts and cottages (Case Rui, Fraschei, Alpe Mecio), crossing the vegetation of these altitudes: after chestnut trees and oaks we plunge into a forest of beech and birch. Then we reach the alpine pastures and after about two hours from the start we reached the Alpe Soglia Refuge (7.4 km).

First downhill section backwards, at km 12.4 (2.3 km from finish) to at an elevation of 1052 m. Turn right following the signs for trail 416 near Case Ciochet and continue through the spectacular beech forest, also crossing a nice little slab bridge.
