Sentiero Chiantore - Piossasco
We are in the Monte San Giorgio Park. The route still starts from Piossasco but further west; it’s best to park in the Campetto hamlet in the designated parking lots, as the private roads can often be confusing. After about 2 km on paved road, you’ll reach Ciampetto (431 m), where the dirt road begins—a wide, gentle climb. At Colle di Prè (714 m), turn left and, following a slight series of ups and downs, pass the lower and upper hamlets of Piossasco, the Madonna della Neve Chapel, a brief detour to Prese di Sangano—the Santa Maria Maddalena Chapel, a climb, and the start of the Chiantore trail—about 3 km of mixed terrain, the first part easy, then steep and rocky sections almost to the end.
