Monte Bello e sentiero dell'Emissario

A very scenic e-bike tour offering views of the Roveto Valley and the Fucino Plain. The climb takes you up a dirt road with short sections where you’ll have to push your bike; the descent is never boring, starting along a ridge and then entering the woods for a guided flow ride with a few rocky sections. The final stretch before reaching Luco dei Marsi is a beautiful technical trail offering panoramic views of the town and the Fucino Plain. The route climbs back up a steep dirt road, with ups and downs leading to Monte Salviano and its sanctuary, followed by a short descent on singletrack with some technical sections down to the village of Le Cese.

The final kilometers are on a paved road with no traffic, and we enter the Emissario trail, where nature reigns supreme in a pleasant and historic setting of rare beauty. From the Pescocanale station, we climb back up and reach the starting point via a rugged dirt road, always running alongside the Liri River.
