Monte Agnello II
This route is a version without lifts of the original trail found here, to which a singletrack variant should be added at the end.
The start is from Cavalese, ideally from the Cermis lifts with their large parking lot. Several forest roads are followed to reach the road from Lavazé to the ascent to Pampeago. Climb, this one, without mercy, regardless if you do it on the dirt road (in the track) or on the asphalt: steep it remains. Even after the "village," the gradients do not diminish; on the contrary. You pass by the Baita Caserini hut passing on a steep ski slope, only afterwards do the slopes become human again. Thus we arrive at an altitude of 2168, the drop-off at Baito La Bassa.
From there begins a delirium of trails: first the 513 and 514, very smooth and fast, then the 510, along the Rivo Bianco, a real gem: never too technical, with a winding track, and only a few hairpin bends too narrow. Two points with a fixed rope (so you don't fall into the creek) can be done in the saddle (watch out for the first, the second is easy).
You come to a dirt road, which you follow for a hundred yards or so, before crossing the creek again and pushing up a few ramps uphill, passing a cliff, and returning to the trail delirium of before, beautiful. Watch out because on some Tabacco maps it is not marked at all. You get to Panchià, from which you follow several small roads and then a trail all the way down to the state highway, and then take the Val di Fiemme bike path back to the starting point.
