Description
Beautiful winter route, all on #snow (but doable in summer too), from Oclini Pass to Pietralba and back, on circular route.
Best done at least a week after the last snowfall, when the snow has settled a bit. After two to three weeks the route is usually doable by ebike plus and not just fat bike. Snow-covered, cat-beaten forest roads alternate with snowshoe trails, so you need to have a decent riding technique on snow-covered trails.
If it hasn't snowed for a long time and temperatures rise, ice can form, so be careful or have studded tires. Free parking is available at Oclini Pass. Along the way you will encounter many huts for refreshments
