Sentiero europeo da Bolzano a Merano

European Trail from Bolzano to Merano 2000, long and challenging tour, but to be done at least once a year, both in summer and winter, for the fantastic views and fun trails.

From Merano to Bolzano on bike path (or by train), from Bolzano to San Genesio very hard climb on trail 1 with 28% ramps, from San Genesio the show begins through endless larch meadows and then fir forests to the magical little stone cairns.

From here you can continue on the beautiful European trail, I instead decide to descend to Verano to take a technical trail I hadn't done in many years and it was a great choice, great fun all the way to Gargazzone and then to Merano on bike path.

85 km and 2200+ of wonder!
