In val Mustair sulla neve

Val Müstair-val Monastero, this is not only another delightful discovery, but a great place to ride in the #snow! More than 40 km of beaten snowy roads for hikers, which are perfect for MTBs!

The route starts in Tubre, right on the border line with Switzerland and is all on Swiss soil. It is best to start from the free parking lot of the beautiful St. John's Monastery, just after the border.

The first part is on asphalt, a 5-km climb to take you up to altitude, after that only snow for 40 km to the end of the tour. First a beautiful up-and-down route always above 2000 meters, with fantastic views, all perfectly groomed by the snowcat, to the Minschuns ski lifts, almost to the Forno Pass.

Then a fantastic descent, one of the most beautiful ever, between tunnels, slides and bumps, very long. At the end still almost 20 km all on snow, with the hiking trail running alongside the cross-country trail.
