Martica rustica

Departure from Viale Aguggiari or wherever you prefer in Varese, ascent in Martica passing through the beautiful meadow of Tagliata. At the last hairpin bend we continue straight to go to take the descent towards Brinzio, first part in beech forest with huge amount of leaves and bumpy bottom until we reach the paved but bumpy forest road. Follow it to the locality of Pian di Sciott, now watch out to take on the left a not very evident trail that descends more or less parallel to the forest road. Easy, lightly beaten and fun trail with final freeride back onto the aforementioned forest road to Brinzio (be careful on this last cobbled and steep very slippery section ).

Go through part of the village and then climb up to a picnic area near the Valicci locality (old farmstead with hunting lodge). Direction Ganna with variant to the direct descent, near the panoramic terrace a very challenging passage on fixed rock. Return via bicycle path with ascent to Montallegro via path with two violent and technical ramps, to date partially ruined by motorcycle transit. Further short ascent to Monte Monarco to make the short fun trail that takes us to Induno Olona via the beautiful castle of Frascarolo, now Lindt and Poretti, then final ascent to Bregazzana cemetery. Of note is the resounding "historic" monument; seeing is believing. Asphalt to the parking lot.
