Passo del Bernina - Livigno

The return from Bernina to Livigno after doing the Bernina Express route. I recommend filling your water bottle before setting off.

From the Bernina Hospice station you climb up to the cantonal road, cross it and climb on marked trail with 1 ramp where you will probably push. The rest is all pedalable, if it is sunny this is an uphill section where the sun beats down hard. The trail was built for bikes and is fun uphill as well. The Bernina group behind us is worth a break.

It is only 250 meters uphill, after which we continue to Forcola di Livigno on the trail we took on the way up, beautiful.

One last slight climb and we are at the Forcola di Livigno. From here it's all downhill or flat to Livigno on bike path.
