Via degli Dei giorno 3
The itinerary of the third and last day we start again from Sant'Agata and enjoy the sunrise that accompanies us on the beautiful dirt road that takes us to San Piero a Sieve; from there we go up and then reach the Castle of Trebbio via wide dirt roads and asphalt, from there we then continue to Tagliaferro is from there starts the climb almost entirely on dirt road up to Monte Senario, a climb that is rather long and tiring and that in some stretches needs to push the bike both because of the gradient and because of the particularly broken and rocky ground.
After a brief stop at the sanctuary, we descend to Poggio le Croci and then begin again the climb to Poggio Capanne and Poggio Pratone in fact the last exertions before the descent to Fiesole and then Florence; be careful on the guide it is reported that this last stretch is not practicable by mtb and in a vague way it is recommended to check the map, we did not find any kind of indication or deviation for Mtb and so we decided to follow the route and go up, a lot of fatigue little pedalability and accomplice the heat and fatigue of the last day not very rewarding. The last part towards Fiesole and Florence is almost a triumphal march that gives the satisfaction of having concluded this beautiful experience in the midst of monuments and history of one of the most beautiful and representative cities of Italy
