Archetta Fonte Solforosa Cabana flow

Beautiful and adventurous combination in this fantastic area, from the wild-looking trails. After tackling the beautiful ridge of the Archetta today lashed by a strong wind that gave us no small difficulty in tackling the most treacherous sections, we walked a nice traverse to find the Cai 547 and then took a nice unmarked but obvious path leading to the Fonte Solforosa.

Back up to Prato all'Albero we went in search of the "Cabana Flow" very wild trail probably now in a state of abandonment but really beautiful, immersed in a very evocative environment. The trail ends at the point where the streams of the Mansalto and Valdiccioli branches join together to give birth to the Farfareta. After crossing a couple of fords, we find again the path that starting from the Valdiccioli Refuge leads to Madonna di Tre Fiumi.

The latter, following the course of the stream, sums up as a real mtb must: a succession of descents and relaunches with technical passages both uphill and downhill, a real leg-breaker at the end of the tour but enjoyable for the environments crossed.
