Passo Brogles da Chiusa
Very long and challenging route, with endless ascent to Brogles Pass. On the other hand, the views are spectacular and also the downhill trails very enjoyable.
I specify right away that the first part, up to above Ortisei, is all on asphalt, but after that you will see very little of it until the parking lot. Best to start early in the morning and possibly out of season, to avoid traffic on the state highway.
From Ortisei there is no more traffic, but the climb is quite hard, then it is on a forest road up to the Brogles pass and the Brogles hut. Here excellent refreshments and beautiful views.
The descent is all on a very nice trail with some technical and challenging sections. When you reach Funes, follow trail 11, with a few more uphill sections and a nice finish on a technical trail.
