Monte Pascolo

Very challenging tour for both the long climb and the nervous descent. It starts in Brixen and for the ascent I took this trail from grandpacarb. You pedal nimbly up to 2050 meters, then begins a beautiful panoramic traverse (trail 8) that you can ride in part with good technique and good leg. From the lake you push the mtb all the way to the top of Monte Pascolo (section forbidden to bikes). Once at the top you enjoy the 360-degree scenery of Monte Pascolo.

You descend along the ridge to Lorenzischarte (Forcella S. Lorenzo) and descend to Frozen Lake, (small 5-minute push part) on a nervous descent.

You then descend down 13 to the end and here you skirt the other side of the valley, a continuous up and down on asphalt and forest road until you reach Steinwies Alm. From here follow the trail again to the ridge and descend sharply to the trail to the Spelonca Plain, here left to Varna. Very enjoyable trail in the upper part, steeper and rougher in the lower part.
