Al rifugio Auronzo sulla neve

The ascent to the Auronzo hut can be made when the road going up is well groomed; one usually has to wait about ten days after the last snowfall.

Passing over the frozen Lake Misurina, one arrives at the base of the climb. the first section is paved, up to Lake d'Antorno, then all snow. The climb, already hard in itself, is made even more difficult by the #snow, however if this is well groomed you can pedal quite well.

When you arrive at the hut (usually closed in winter) you can change in the winter bivouac that is always open.

If nno there is a lot of snow, you can get as far as the Lavaredo Fork.

The view is exceptional. The descent is very fast, then at Lake Antorno, if you have done the climb at night, you can go down the ski slope
