Altipiano del Salto sulla neve

Nice route all on #snow, to be done with packed snow (must have snowed for at least a week).

From the parking lot we climb to the beautiful little church in Lavenna, then descend and reach Gschnoferstall. From here a nice trail takes us south and to the lowest point. We ascend in very beautiful surroundings among larch trees and immense white meadows, returning, with several ups and downs, to the parking lot.

We now climb a stretch on asphalt, then left to the very scenic Meltina mountain and arrive at the Meltina cheese factory (winter refreshment on weekends). From here a nice forest path leads to the Genesio farm, then on nice panoramic forest road back to the parking lot. Beautiful view of the Dolomites
