Monte Villandro

Very challenging, but fun and scenic route. From the Sarentino valley the long ascent to the Renon begins.

The first part on asphalt, then on forest roads, you reach Auna di Sopra and then Corno di Sotto. You climb one more section and descend to the saddle of the spirits. From here, partly pedaling and a lot of pushing, you reach the top of the Villandro mountain. Fantastic views from the top. Now a very wild up-and-down stretch, as if inside an amphitheater, to the Sarentino saddle.

Now the long descent begins, first on rather steep grassland, then entering the forest and continuing on trail with steep, technical sections. A short ascent on asphalt, then another 10 minutes pushing on steeply ascending trail. Last downhill section of trail and on forest road to the Sarentino valley road and the starting point.
