Valle di Viù - Alpe d'Ovarda
Departure from Chiandusseglio, hamlet of Lemie, ample parking for cars. It climbs on steep asphalt passing the hamlets of Molar, Fontana and Inversigni, at 1236 m. After about 2 km, a wide dirt road begins that in about 6 km leads to Alpe d' Ovarda at an altitude of 1,886 m. In between is the chapel of San Bartolomeo at 1377 m, the boulder of Barma Frè (with its legends and comparison to the more famous Rocca di San Leo) and then a slender fence with sheep and Maremma shepherds, eye. One crosses the rio Ovarda, passes Alpe Milone and arrives at the destination, extendable on foot for the more tenacious to Colle Paschiet. The descent is described on gulliver on the same outward route, actually there would be trail 128 A that in the woods allows cuts, although the abundant foliage and stones below must be approached with some care. Made a section of 128 A from the chapel of San Bartolomeo, it would continue to Lemie. The section of difficulty BC refers only to trail 128 A.
