Description
Beautiful route on #snow, very scenic but also very challenging, given the 2000 meters of elevation gain with some very hard climbs.
From the Tann hotel on the Renon plateau we first climb to the Corno del Renon and then descend to the alpe di Villandro on the beautiful snowy trail.
At the alp you make a nice loop encountering several alpine huts with refreshments and then climb back to the Rittner Horn. (Beware of the upper part of the tour, only to be done if the snow is old and turned and beaten by snowmobiles. alternatively, descend back on the road to the Mair in Plun hut and ascend on the snow-covered forest road).
From here last beautiful descent to the car.
