Mount Aserei from Telecchio

Very hard ride with steep and very challenging climbs, spectacular descents on the ridges of the badlands.

Start from Bobbio thermal baths passing through Trebbia, then asphalt until Telecchio road.

Very hard climb on very bad bottom, but all pedaled, improves before the village, then nice dirt road until after Barche.

Now new very hard section on ruined bottom, improves before the anticima of Mt. Aserei, then nice trail next to the pine forest in the clearing with many free horses.

Descent on trail to road leading to saddle of generals and Santa Barbara pass statue.

Quick descent to above Averaldi then climb back to St. Augustine's church, short asphalt road and at the rock face follow the beautiful, narrow and spectacular ridge with steep and challenging sections to the asphalt road.

Continue to Fontana then up dirt road on the knoll and then down the endless, beautiful Cannon Coast trail back to the start.

The descents are the most spectacular in the province.

Water can be found at the Telecchio fountain and just after the church of St. Augustine, we pass it.
