Anterselva - Cortina giorno 3
After a restful night’s sleep, we set off from Anterselva at 7 °C under sunny skies, following the bike path that takes us through Rasun and Valdaora—passing their respective lakes—all the way to Monguelfo, then continuing along the bike path leading to Dobbiaco. Here, given that it’s Sunday and the weather is beautiful, traffic increases significantly, and we spend more time dodging reckless and reckless e-bike riders than enjoying the scenery around us.
Without much excitement, we rejoined the bike path we’d taken on the first day and rode it in reverse from Lake Dobbiaco to Cortina, passing through the Cimabanche Pass.
It’s interesting to observe how a road or route traveled in opposite directions can still offer very different sensations and perspectives and remain thoroughly enjoyable.
Back in Cortina in the early afternoon, hours of highway driving and traffic jams await us, but we have time to reflect on the beautiful and fulfilling weekend we’ve had.
