Valle Maira - San Damiano - Colle Rusciera - Monte Ciarm

Circular route from San Damiano Macra passing through Colle Birrone (11.9 km), Colle Rusciera (17.4 km), Monte Ciarm (17.6 km), Borgata Fracchie (23 km).

First climbing on asphalt, then on dirt road, you reach Colle Birrone where you continue left, still on dirt road uphill, arriving at Colle Rusciera, where you leave the dirt road and, after a few meters of pushing, climb the ridge (skirting Monte Ciarm, which is not very visible) and begin the descent on steep meadows (S1 some sections S2, narrow path slightly eroded). At km 19.3, take a short traverse (10/15 minutes), 50% of which is cycleable, and begin the second part of the descent on a path towards Fracchie without any major difficulties (S1 some sections S2), then asphalt to return to the starting point.
