MOUNT GUGLIELMO - STALLETTI - MEDELET - 210 - THIRTEEN PLANTS - BIRDER - SPIDER TRAIL
A spectacular tour on our Wilhelm with all the possible options.... We decided to put everything we viewed this year as an upgrade of the classic tour. The elevation gain is not small and there will be no shortage of crunchy sections. Get ready for endless fun.
We start from Cislano di Zone (BS) ( 620 m ) ( N45° 45.176' E10° 06.877' ) and climb the classic ascent that will take us first to the Croce di Marone ( 1,166 m ) then begin the first cemented roads and then settle into a smooth and panoramic ascent that is thrilling. We will reach Rifugio Almici ( 1,865 m ) then with one last effort to the top of Guglielmo ( 1,950 m ) where the skyline will leave you speechless. Now we recover and put on our pads to start the descent on the Stalletti Alti trail. First flow then crunchy we will arrive at Malga Stalletti Alti ( 1,680 m ) where we will deviate left onto Trail Le Gale. Now with ease we will arrive in the area of Le Gale ( 1,557 m ) and then to Rifugio Medelet ( 1,567 m ). We continue on wide dirt road downhill to the junction with Trail No. 210 ( 1,380 m ). First vertical section in undergrowth then crunchy route again will take you to Casarole ( 1,180 m ) . There will be a transfer section with two push pieces up to the Casottino under the Tredici Piante ( 1,350 m ) where you will start downhill again with some central tears ( a couple you will push ) that will take you to the entrance of the famous Trail Dell'Uccellatore and we will enjoy it until the last meter. Arriving at the Forcellino delle Piane (1,090 m ), then at the House in the Rock, we will return to the road taken uphill at the beginning. Here we climb for 5 to 10 minutes at most to take the famous Ragnoli Trail to the Forcella di Gasso ( 1,126 m ). Down we bomb down between flow, crunchy and chilling foliage then to follow Trail dei Cavalli ( watch out for the slightly hidden entrance ) until we return to that of Cislano di Zone with a smile on our faces.
