Lago di Santa Maria dalle Casermette del Penna
Quick tour in the cool of the Penna forest. Departing from the Penna Casermette parking lot, you will immediately climb on asphalt to Del Chiodo Pass, where you will take a right onto the trail leading to Penna Lake. From here on, the wheels will no longer touch the asphalt until the end of the tour. When you reach Penna Lake, you take a left to Incisa Pass, where you descend to the left on a dirt road. Here you do not have to follow the first detour proposed by the trail because I took the wrong fork, the correct dirt road cut is the second. Back on the dirt road you take after a hundred meters the secret trail on the right, which takes us up to Lake Santa Maria with one of the most beautiful trails in the area. When you get to the lake you take the dirt road to the left and return to Incisa Pass, there are several fountains to stock up on water. Back at Incisa you take a path called Rambo to the left, watch out for the entrance which is a bit hidden.
When the path is finished, take the dirt road to the left, a dirt road that you leave after less than a kilometer for the path on the right that takes us back to the Penna Casermette where the tour ends.
