Madonna della Neve - Terre Bianche - Monte Ere
We are offering you a super endurance ride on the great Monte Magno in Val Sabbia with three magnificent descents: MADONNA DELLA NEVE - TERRE BIANCHE - N.504. The first, MADONNA DELLA NEVE, is an up & down endurance trail with a final vertical flow, while the second, TERRE BIANCHE, is a must in the area with its passage through the Gran Canyon da mille e una notte (Grand Canyon of a Thousand and One Nights). The third, N.504, is pure rock 'n' roll after crossing the beautiful ERE plateau. Excellent training on first-class trails that are rightly included in the overall BRESCIA TOP TRAIL ranking. Each of these tours will be documented by a video to show you the entire descents you will face.
We start from the center of Gavardo and head towards Sopraponte, where we will follow the main but little-used road to the Cacciatore restaurant. We continue towards the Bussi restaurant, then begin the last 2.3 km of ascent to reach Selvapiana. At the shrine, I recommend taking a short break before continuing on the MADONNA DELLA NEVE TRAIL. This section will be mixed with ups and downs and rocky stretches to the foot of the church, where we will get off our bikes and push for 2 minutes to reach this beautiful location typical of Val Sabbia. Now we prepare for the first descent: immediately challenging with difficult rocks, it will become smoother and with a vertical final stretch, we will arrive at the Fobbia pass. Now we will have a transfer section with a short climb up to Fobiet and then head towards the official entrance to TERRE BIANCHE. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the must-do descent in the area. It starts off flowing and then becomes even more exciting on the trail until the central section of the grand Canyon, which looks like something out of a movie. The second part, on the other hand, moves into flowing undergrowth with a final rock 'n' roll section back towards Clibbio. In this version, we decide to climb back up to Magno for the Cagnatico ascent. There will be some cemented sections to overcome, but then we will reach the Alpini refuge in Vallio and then the cross that dominates the Val Sabbia. From this point, we will move to the Ere plateau on a pleasant up and down section. One last stretch and we will be at the Ristorante Cacciatore.
A short break and then we'll start descending again. A quick stretch of asphalt towards Sopraponte and you'll notice a yellow barrier on your right. This is where the No. 504 begins. Pure rock 'n' roll riding with a couple of technical passages will take you to Gavardo with a smile on your face.
