Dal monte Argentea al mare - X Rossa

Depart from Voltri and up, relax on the Turchino, climb to Geremia via AVML. Refreshment at the refuge, and then tarmac to Faiallo Pass. We don't take the AVML, but instead climb to the summit, pass Faiallo peak, Monte Reixa, and on until we reach the Argentea refuge. On this stretch every now and then you have to stop, get off your bike, and fill your eyes with such beauty.

After a nice restorative break on the tables at the refuge, we take the trail from below the refuge and reach the Gava Pass. Eye the highlight of the day is yet to come: the Tardie and its descent to Campenave, the famous X Rossa!

At this point we climb Mt. Tardie, then be careful not to get distracted and off to Campenave on the Red X. The first part has a few passages always on fixed rock but to be careful, at first it will be hard to keep the pace, but sooner or later it will feel like flying over the increasingly sparse rocks. Once we reach the starting clearing of the X Rossa lower part we will go for Sugarsu, splendid finish for a killer ride. Arrival at the beach in Vesima, ritual swim and then back to Voltri.
