Sentiero 10-Vignatico-Collegrato

Loop ride that develops at the foot of the Laga Mountains in a truly spectacular environment. It starts just above Castel Trosino and pedaling up to Tre Casciare passing through San Vito and San Giacomo, an area well known by bikers because the wholeAscoli Trail Area develops below here. Continuing uphill we enter the beautiful Vallone del Vescovo, just below the summit of Monte Girella. From here we cut into portage on the meadow to go to take Trail 10, which is probably one of the most beautiful trails in the area. Absolutely not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo, the first part is really very exposed and you go down on a rocky and sometimes even bumpy bottom. You have to stay really focused, no mistakes are allowed here. The trail ends in the woods after a nice series of switchbacks to be done in nose press. Finished on the 10th we climb back up to Mt. Capitone via Cordella and then down to Vignatico on a really wonderful trail, a fast and driven natural flow but there is no shortage of rocky passages. Once in Vignatico, the last 300 meters of ascent to Collegrato await us and passing through the ruins of Serra we go to take the last trail of the day. Beautiful descent that alternates flow and technical sections all strictly natural. Once we get to the cars all we have left to do is drink a nice cold beer. In conclusion, a beautiful loop that encompasses the true essence of mountain biking, all mountain and enduro, we didn't miss a thing, portage, steep, technical, exposed, natural flow and you name it.
