A Maranza sulla neve

Beautiful snowy route in Maranza in the lower Pustertal valley.

The route is all groomed by the snowcat, you just have to be careful with the lower part of the route, the one around the ski lifts, which is all exposed to the sun and in case of little #snow, or old, it might not be snowed in.

You start in Maranza, from the small free parking lot on Platzer Street, and climb up into the beautiful Altafossa Valley, where you can make a circular loop and also go up to the arrival of the gondola. Then you go down and on snowy forestry, with beautiful views of the Dolomites, to the reservoir and up to the Kiens Fork, where you can take a circular tour, if beaten, on the Stollberg. Then it is always back on snow to Maranza.
