Description
Beautiful route in the snow, with stupendous views of the alps.
From the parking lot in Pracupola, on Lake Zoccolo, climb to the top station of the Schwemmalm gondola. Climb first on snow, then on asphalt and last section again on snow.
You reach Ausser Schwemmalm, then Inner Schwemmalm and continue on the scenic, very nice trail through the woods, then back to the ski lifts. You descend to Breiteben and turn away from the lifts, to descend to St. Moritz on trail and then to Pracupola again on technical, snowy trail if conditions are right.
If you still feel like it, you can go around Lake Hoof, mostly snow-covered.
