Giro delle Certose - bassa Val di Susa

Hourly tour from Villar Focchiardo that on asphalt for about 8 km leads us first to the junction to the Certosa di Montebenedetto and then, after another 3 km mixed asphalt and dirt road to Alpe Fumavecchia. Returning to the junction we descend to the Carthusian Monastery and turn left onto trail 523 to a plateau now with fenced cows. At the end of the meadow is the entrance to the forest trail, a decent single track with foliage, few obstacles. You reach the Gravio Creek, today with 30 cm of water, crossable by saddle. Continue through the woods to the Certosa di Banda and finally to Villarfocchiardo. After the Carthusian monastery of Montebenedetto there is a chance to the west by taking trail 524 to take you to the Val Gravio Refuge.

Route good all year round, especially autumn and spring.
