Alpe Giumello
Departure from Bellano and long climb passing through Ombriaco-Vendronio-Narro to finish at alpe Giumello. the descent, technical, starts near the barn that is found continuing from the alpe on the dirt road slightly downhill, arrived near a hamlet or alpeggio we take towards Camaggiore with some uphill sections, from there we continue again on a dirt road downhill to the entrance of the trail, from there almost all singletrack until the final mule track to Dervio.
Very nice and varied descent, challenging and long ascent. Fantastic views of the #lagodicomo
Update
Starting from the top, at the clear alp, the track passes higher than the actual trail. Arriving at the Bassia pits I recommend not going up towards the Matoch but staying low and taking the trail that passes below coming directly above the Tedoldo. From here the trail is ok until before the Camaggiore plans, where if you follow it you make a not very fun mule track to the Prato Lungo alp. Before the plans, at a drinking fountain take the barely visible path to the left that descends directly to the alpe. From the alpe to the pratolungo farmsteads it is a bit of a ravine (there are no alternatives) GPS with trail NEEDED.
From the farmsteads onward the trail is easily followed on an ever-obvious path, at the more "important" junctions follow the signs indicating BIKE. Beware that the final trail down to Dervio is overgrown with leaves and needs maintenance.
