DeutschBOBBIO (PC) TRAIL MATERANO - OM RUS - MARCHETTI - BHT
The start of this itinerary is from Piancasale, a hamlet of houses located going up the SS45 on the left about 1km after the Barberino Tunnel a few km before Bobbio(PC). To reach the first descent we took a somewhat longer loop passing through the Sant'Agostino pine forest area.
The descents in order are:
- Materano (fairly difficult)
- Om Rus (difficult)
- Marchetti Trail ( discreetly flowing)
At the end of the three sections, it is necessary to climb about 200 m of elevation gain to take the last descent that will take us right above the Barberino Tunnel.
- BHT ( fun trail)
The trails are mostly on rock and in some sections are shared with motorcycles which, along with the water, help make them even more technical. If you are looking for flow these trails are not, except Marchetti Trail, indicated. In the Bobbio area there are others that are much smoother.
