Giro del Monte Javello

The tour starts in Montemurlo, enters the Javello Farm park and with a wide (and long) dirt road we climb to Passo delle Cavallaie, take a narrow trail that takes us to the summit of the eponymous peak.

From here starts the Faggione Trail, always well maintained and very enjoyable. Alternatively, continuing a few tens of meters along the ridge trail we find the ''La lisca'' trail that descends parallel, a bit more technical and challenging (both were PS of TES2023). The 2 trails then come together at the start of the Javello Trail, the first half of which is covered. Unlike the previous ones which are very ''natural'' this is a trail built in bikepark style.

We do not ride the whole Javello trail but following the trail we go back up along a forestry road. We take the Botox and then Paline narrow trails that are quite tenical and then take us back to asphalt. After a short stretch we reach the Cai12 trail that takes us toward Monte Lopi on a surface that ranges from flowing to trialistic rocky and then descends downstream into Galceti Park. From there we ride along some bike/bike paths back to the starting point.
