Description
Classic training ride starting in Bolzano, leading to the Col and then back to Bolzano via trail No. 3. The climb up to the Col is very strenuous, you do about 850 meters of elevation gain in 9 km, so an average gradient of about 10%. Once you get up there is a beautiful view of the Schlern and Eisack valleys.
After the pass there is another 150 meters or so of ascent, after which the descent begins that takes us to the viewpoint above Bolzano.
From here begins the real descent that takes us down to Bolzano. As a difficulty I would give it an S2. I do not recommend doing the tour when it is very hot.
