Monte Bronzone
A route we have already ridden, but with a few uphill variations and a completely different descent, much more fun; we are in Adrara San Martino, a few kilometers from Sarnico on Lake Iseo and we are going to conquer Mount Bronzone.
As always, some technical data before we start: distance: 17km - time on the move: 2.20 hours - total elevation gain: 1220m - maximum elevation: 1340m - cycleability: 90% - suitable for MTB XC/AM/ENDURO.
Leaving the car in Canzanica we immediately take a paved road with regular gradients, after which changing the mountainside, the climb becomes cemented with somewhat more challenging gradients. Once you are almost at the top you turn onto a path that will take you to your first stop: a cross with a beautiful view where you can admire Lake Iseo.
After the usual photos continue first through a meadow, then a small road and finally climb about 40m to reach a short, but fun trail that will lead you to the beginning of a challenging climb on a dirt road. When you reach the hut it is time to get off the bike; initially you can lead it by hand, but toward the end it is better to shoulder it to reach the summit, with the famous bell, of Mount Bronzone; all for about 30 minutes. Retrace the stretch just done by pushing, but now riding the bike, slow and technical, to the hut.
At the hut you divert onto an initially very fast, flowing trail, on beaten earth, simple, but fun; after that you proceed uphill for a stretch and then get back on a very flowing trail again, but this time with some technical sections. After finishing one trail you immediately take another that will lead you back to the cars.
