Il crinale del Pratomagno

A nice ride on Pratomagno starting from Poppi.

Ascent to the Cross in mixed terrain of single track, dirt roads and a bit of asphalt on deserted roads. From the Cross, you ride the entire grassy and scenic ridge with beautiful views of the Arno valleys on the Casentino and Valdarno sides, up to the Bottigliana and Spada in the Rock peaks. From this point begins the descent on CAI 36 trail to Carda on a fairly rough path down a steep descent, I found this part in some places very closed by brambles and plants in general, perhaps it is better to descend from CAI 38 to Carda.

From Carda on asphalt but very pleasant path back to Poppi .
