Rifugio Maset

Route with an ascent on asphalt and gravel with variable gradient and descent on technical trail alternating with pedrata and finally easier trails.

Start from Polcenigo, climb to Coltura and in the direction of Cansiglio on dirt road (part of the Troi Trek race climb), passing through Lama di Som, Malga Pizzoc, Malga Brusada and again uphill and small downhill stretch to reach Rif Maset, near which you take the well-marked CAI 981 path that descends steeply and with a bottom in rocks and earth until it becomes a very ruined footpath with moving rocks, treacherous if wet, with small sections in good condition, until it crosses CAI 982 toBar da Stale, from where you descend on easier paths that flank the asphalt (there are several to choose from) to Coltura.
