Piancavallo Cai 970 e 990

Nice ride in the mountains around Piancavallo. In the trail the ascent to Piancavallo, due to weather, is on asphalt road that is quite busy on weekends, I recommend you take the parallel road: the Venice of the snows closed to traffic. From Piancavallo begins a beautiful and comfortable forest road that will take us to casera Valfredda. From here continue on a path that later becomes a nice traverse but not entirely cyclable and quite exposed (be careful) until you reach casera Giais (where I bivouacked). From the casera short section with bike on the shoulder and then descent on trail 970 to Lake Barcis. Finally climb back up to Piancavallo to descend to the plains via trail 990 that alternates fast and flowing sections, technical sections and exposed sections (pay attention).

PS: In this track you find the "feasible" descent on trail 970 because the one I did (visible in the video) has a long central section that is very dirty, not very visible and not very accessible.
