Monte Arsenti Trail Area

Mount Arsenti, near Massa Marittima, is a hillock on which many mountain bike trails have been legally built.

They are maintained and managed by Bike Service Massa Marittima, which also organizes van rides if one needs them. Not only that, they are now also opening a bed-and-breakfast to add to the range of hotels and houses in the area. We were staying at Pian dei Mucini, where the tour also starts.

This trail shows 4 trails, but there are more, and they are all marked.

It starts at the top of Mount Arsenti, which can also be reached by biking on the purpose-built trail called Spaghetti.

The trails are never really difficult, the difficulty let's say depends on how fast you ride and possibly whether the bottom is wet or not.

The great thing about Mt. Arsenti is that you can ride it pretty much year round.
