Al rifugio Santa Croce in inverno

Very challenging route, mostly on #snow, with very steep climb and several push sections and descent on narrow but very fun trail.

Ideal for fat bikes, perfect for e-bikes. Doable even in summer. The views are outstanding. From La Villa take the snowy bike road to Badia. From here you go up to Valgiarei. Here a very steep snowy trail begins, but with a good leg you can ride it. A few pushing sections and you reach the ranch at Andre's and the cross-country trails. You turn right and pass over the beautiful Armentara meadows.

Last climb and you arrive at the Santa Croce refuge (refreshment), with the beautiful little church and the splendid view. Now take a nice, very narrow, snowy, slightly downhill trail, very fun, to S. Cassiano and back to the parking lot on the snowy bike path.

Best done at least a week after the last snowfall.
