Description
Going up to the Rittner Horn from Bolzano, especially in winter and with #snow, is very long and very tiring, also because the road up is quite steep. For this, it is ideal to have an ebike or, alternatively, you can take the cable car that goes to Soprabolzano.
On the other hand, the views are superb, the snowy ride is great fun and the descent back to Bolzano is endless, very varied and very satisfying! Watch out for the last descent on Trail 2, very technical and challenging.
The important thing is to choose the right day, which should be clear, possibly windless and at least a week after the last snowfall so that the snow is well groomed.
