Description
Beautiful but challenging snow route, also doable in summer, leading up to the magical little stone cairns located at 2000 meters between Avelengo and Sarentino.
Start in Avelengo, parking lot at the Carabinieri. We climb first to the Leadner hut (refreshment), then on snow to the cairns with splendid views of the Dolomites. Descend to the Kaser Alm (refreshment), then on the nice k trail again to Leadner Alm.
Up to Verano hut and then last very long descent, all on snow, on the beautiful but at times very challenging trail 2.
