MONTECAMPIONE - DOSSO SPARVIERO - DOSSO BLUSSEGA - TOUR DELLE MALGHE EASY LINE

PIAN CAMUNO (BS) - The classic ascent to Plan di Montecampione for a tour among huts and unique views. An excellent training on first-class trails that rightfully enter the overall BRESCIA TOP TRAIL ranking. We start from Pian Camuno in the province of Brescia and climb first to Montecampione then Plan di Montecampione (1,736 meters) on a paved road that has seen the Giro d'Italia in the past. The climb is all pedalable with regular gradients and if tackled early in the morning all in shade. From Plan we are now out of the world so we deviate to the left passing by the monument dedicated to Pantani and climb first to Malga Bassinale then reach the Monte Cimosco Refuge (1,800 meters) where you can stop and rest while tasting local products. From the refuge we now descend for a vertical stretch and return on gippabile uphill to Stanga Bassinale (1,879 meters). The valley opens up before you and shows itself in all its beauty. We turn left and reach Malga la Paglia. Shortly afterwards begins a short stretch where you have to get off the MTB 2/3 times to reach Dosso Sparviero (1,893 meters). Shortly after we get back in the saddle and continue on trail passing Piazza la Nera and Malga Cauzzo. From this malga we turn left and then right on a freeride trail that will take us to the final stretch of challenging ascent to reach Dosso Blussega ( 1,811 meters). Ahead is the cross and an impressive 360° panorama. Time for the ritual photo and we finally descend first on the "ridges" of the panettone then we enter on a trail that will take us to Malga Rognone (1,458 meters). Here, in this version, we choose the Easy Line and turning right on gippabile cobbled , dirt and cemented with intense slopes, we will descend without technical difficulties to Montecchio. From this point a last stretch of transfer and we will reach Pian Camuno.
